Step Away from the Noise. Come Back to Yourself.
September 11–13, 2026
Cedar Crest Lodge | Pleasanton, Kansas
You don't need another thing to work on.
You might just need a weekend away.
A weekend with nourishing food, meaningful conversations, gentle movement, creativity, nature, rest, and space to breathe.
Bring your best friend, sister, mom, daughter—or come on your own.
Back to Basics is a restorative wellness getaway for women who are craving a little less noise and a little more life.
No pressure.
No perfection.
No packed schedule.
Everything is optional, and you get to choose what you need most—time with the group, time alone, movement, rest, reflection, creativity, or simply doing nothing at all.
After years of leading teams, coaching women, designing experiences, and hosting retreats, I've learned something:
The magic is rarely in the big things.
It's in the details.
The fresh flowers.
The cup of coffee waiting in the morning.
The cozy bed.
The homemade meal.
The sunset.
The thoughtful welcome.
The feeling that someone thought about you before you arrived.
Because what we're really creating isn't just a retreat.
It's a feeling.
The feeling of being cared for.
And for women who spend so much of their lives taking care of everyone else, that matters.
For one weekend, let someone take care of you.
Women of all ages.
Mothers and daughters.
Sisters.
Best friends.
Or women who simply need a weekend for themselves.
This retreat was created for women who are craving a little more peace, connection, creativity, and space to simply be.
Maybe life has felt busy.
Maybe you're tired of rushing.
Maybe you're carrying a lot.
Or maybe you're simply overdue for a girls' getaway.
Whatever brought you here, you're welcome.
There is no pressure to participate in everything.
No expectation that you have to share.
No need to have anything figured out before you arrive.
Take what you need.
Leave the rest.
Come as you are.
Leave feeling more like yourself.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and personal.

The Open Heart retreat is a beautiful nature escape that feels kind-of like a dream camp for women with its womb-like atmosphere of nourishing homemade meals, sacred talking circles, group activities (ours had a sound bath and shibori workshop) and time spent with nature. you come on Friday afternoon knowing noone and leave Sunday morning with the deep friendships of the women who have so bravely shared their hearts and helped you to unburden yours.
The Joy Retreat was pure medicine for my soul. Pamela wove together a beautiful tapestry of experiences—from a grounding nature walk and a healing sound bath to heart-opening candle-making to a soul-stirring fire ceremony, and everything in between. She created a container of trust, softness, and deep feminine wisdom where each of us felt safe to be seen, held, and supported. I was able to rest, release, laugh, cry, and reconnect with who I am—surrounded by the most incredible women. If you’re feeling called to tune into your inner wisdom in a space of love and no judgment, this is the retreat. Forever grateful for this weekend!

Pamela is a true catalyst for profound, accelerated healing. Her work gently but powerfully, guides you in releasing old patterns, stories, and energy that no longer serve. With her support, I found myself stepping fully into clarity, intention, and a more empowered sense of purpose.
Pam brings wisdom, warmth, and deep intuitive presence to everything she does. With her, I felt safe, seen, and genuinely supported in aligning with a more joyful, focused, and connected version of myself. If you're ready to create meaningful, lasting change, I can't recommend The Balanced Way highly enough.

The retreat was exactly what I needed at just the right time. I went to the retreat not knowing what to expect, but knowing that the way I had learned to view the world around me was no longer serving me. After a weekend of thoughtful activities, deep reflection, and quiet relaxation, I left feeling validated, stronger, and much more connected than I could have imagined. The retreat should definitely be thought of as an integral part of a self-care tool kit.
